  • The ADANI Company was founded in 1991 by professor Vladimir Linev for implementing the innovation projects in the field of instrument-making industry for applied physical and magnetic-resonance investigations. The leading researchers of the scientific-research laboratory of the magnetic and gamma-resonance spectroscopy of the Belarusian State University (city of Minsk) have become a kernel of the Company.

    The Company's name is associated with the class of the instruments (Advanced Analytical Instruments) the Company was developing and manufacturing at the beginning of its activities.
  • Since 1996, the ADANI develops efficiently the innovation scanning technologies in the field of the digital visualization of X-ray images for X-ray apparatus of both medical purpose and for providing the security and performing non-destructive testing.
  • The ADANI Company has developed the original scanning technique patented and registered under the trademark DRS ZoomVision, on the basis of which a line of digital X-ray image scanning receivers with high quality/price ratio has been developed.
  • The ADANI Company is a pioneer in the developing and delivering the new in principle products to the world market:


    • In 1991, the CMS8400 unique portable automated electronic paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectrometer intended for solving a wide scope of scientific and applied problems was created. The spectrometer has made it possible to apply the modern EPR-techniques - for monitoring the stability of taste qualities of beer, for analyzing the wear of the engines of supertankers and aircraft, for manufacturing polymers, etc.
    • In the years 1992-1996 the specialized gamma- (RUG-91M) and beta- (RUB-91) analyzers for the express-analysis of contamination of foods, building materials and environment objects with the purpose of solving the ecologic problems arisen after the accident at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. The efficient system for monitoring the foods and environment objects in Belarus, Ukraine and Russia, which still operates successfully has been actually created on the basis of these devices (the total number of the devices manufactured exceeded 5000).
    • In 1999, the CONPASS unique ultralow-dose radiographic personal-inspection system was created (since 2003 it is manufactured DRS SecureScan) for exercising special control for providing the security at airports, prisons, diamond mines and other objects. Unlike other personal security scanning systems based on the use of the reflected X-radiation, this system make it possible to detect weapon and plastic explosives concealed under clothes, diamonds and drugs either concealed under clothes or swallowed in containers; and other dangerous articles, which transportation is prohibited.
    • In 1999, the first generation of low-dose medical-purpose digital radiographic scanning systems was created. It includes the "Pulmoscan" system intended for screening the thorax organs, the "Uniscan" one intended for performing universal examinations and the "Pulmoexpress" mobile digital-radiographic room.
    • In 2003, the second generation of digital radiographic scanning systems was created. It includes the DRS Universal ("Uniscan" apparatus line), DRS Thorax ("Pulmoscan" apparatus line) and the DRS Thorax Mobile Room.
    • In 2003, the DRS Universal Trauma whole-body radiographic scanning system was developed. This system is intended for use in admission (traumatologic) departments of hospitals including the mobile field military ones. The unique capabilities of this system make it possible to obtain a high-quality digital X-ray image of the whole body of the patient injured within 10 15 seconds for the purpose of rendering the efficient first aid within the so-called first "golden hour" after the injury.
    • In 2005, the serial production of the line of digital radiographic scanning systems under the DRS BagVision trademark intended for examining the baggage, hand luggage and large-dimension cargoes was started.
  • The ADANI Company employs 125 specialists of whom 55 persons are involved in carrying out the R&D works. They are theoretical physicists, programmers, electronic and mechanical engineers as well as designers.
  • Solving complex scientific and engineering problems of the scanning technique with a team of talented and devoted professionals, the ADANI Company is a pioneer in the field of novel developments.
  • In April 2002, the ADANI introduced the International Quality-Management System to the ISO 9001:2000 and ISO13485 standards, which is certified by the SGS Yarsley International Certification Services Ltd. All the products manufactured has the CE safety marking. In 2005, the medical-purpose digital radiographic systems and security ones were certified in the USA.
